FAQ (aka: The Wick-tionary)
What’s actually in your candles?
Only the good stuff — a natural coconut-soy blend wax, premium fragrance oils, and eco-friendly cotton or crackling wood wicks.
Every candle is non-toxic, cruelty-free, and free from parabens and phthalates — because your home should smell expensive, not chemical.
Why not 100% soy?
Because soy alone can be a little high-maintenance.
Pure soy wax tends to frost, tunnel, and burn unevenly. Our coconut-soy blend keeps things smooth and burns stronger, giving you that room-filling scent throw without the drama. Basically — soy with better vibes.
How long do they burn?
Depends on your size (and your wick-trimming discipline):
6.5 oz (single wick): ≈ 35 hours
7 oz (wood wick): ≈ 40 hours
10 oz (double wick): ≈ 60 hours
13 oz (triple wick): ≈ 55 hours — yes, the smaller one burns longer… three wicks, my friend.
Trim your wick to ¼" and let it melt edge-to-edge the first time to “train” your candle.
Where are your candles made?
Right here in Georgina, Ontario — hand-poured in small batches with big heart.
Each candle is made start-to-finish by Mrs. Frizz & Co., not a factory line.
Do you make custom candles?
Absolutely — weddings, corporate gifts, or just your own signature scent.
Email mrsfrizz@mrsfrizzandco.com with your idea and we’ll make something that smells like you (in a good way).
How do I care for my candle?
Trim the wick to ¼" before lighting, let it melt fully on the first burn, and never burn more than 4 hours at a time.
Keep away from drafts, curtains, and curious toddlers or pets. (Safety looks good on everyone.)
Are your candles eco-friendly?
Yep — from the coconut-soy wax to recyclable packaging and reusable vessels, we do our best to be kind to the planet (and your shelf aesthetic).
They’re also non-toxic and free from parabens and phthalates, so you can feel good about what’s burning in your home.
Can I refill my vessel?
Not yet — but we’re testing refills.
Until then, clean out your jar and repurpose it. Tag us on IG with your creative reuse; we love seeing the afterlife of a good candle.
Do you offer wholesale or bulk orders?
We sure do.
Perfect for boutiques, wedding favours, or corporate gifting. Email mrsfrizz@mrsfrizzandco.com with Wholesale or Bulk in the subject line and we’ll talk scent strategy.
How long does shipping take?
Most orders ship within 3–5 business days.
Custom or large orders may take a little longer because we pour, cure, and pack everything by hand — perfection takes time.
Do you ship outside Canada?
Not right now — and you can thank the current U.S. administration for that.
We’ll open U.S. shipping again as soon as it’s cost-effective (and less of a paperwork nightmare). Until then: Canada-only, eh?
What if my candle arrives damaged?
Email us with photos and your order number — we’ve got you.
We’ll replace or refund it. No drama.
Can I return or exchange my candle?
If you’re not obsessed, email us within 14 days.
We accept returns/exchanges on unused candles in their original packaging. (We can’t take back “just one test burn” candles — nice try though.)
Are your candles safe around pets?
Yes — all ingredients are non-toxic.
Just burn in a ventilated area and keep out of paw’s reach. Nobody wants a singed whisker situation.
